IMMEDIATE RECRUITMENT:

Special Education Teacher is needed for all Special Education students in grades K-12. This is a 1/2 time position for immediate hiring and for 2018-2019 school year.

Job Description: Collaborate with Lead Teachers and Students Services Coordinator to determine needs and services required. Create and update all 504 and IEP. This teacher would not have a classroom but rather assist in services of Lead Teacher classrooms.

Qualifications: Experience in facilitating initial evaluations and eligibility procedures under Section 504 and IDEA. ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi fluency desired or a willingness to learn.

Positions needed at Kawaikini Public Charter School in Puhi, Kauaʻi:

1. (2) Elementary Teachers are needed for grades Kindergarten-6 for the 2018-2019 school year.

Job Description: Position requires responsibilities to include curriculum planning, cultural protocols, school to community participation, and other duties.

Qualifications: Hawaiʻi licensed; highly qualified teacher; ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi required
